As part of the launch of the organisation, Edward Booty, Allied World Healthcare’s Founder and CEO, was invited to talk at Health Innovation 2016 with over 500 attendees in the prestigious Marina Bay Sands hotel in Singapore,
As part of this address, Edward outlined some of the key challenges and restrictions of digital healthcare in emerging markets, along with the market movements and future trends, and how these limitations and changes can be turned into opportunities. He then gave an overview of AWH’s innovative digital health platform and approach for delivering basic healthcare services – focusing on how to leverage public-private partnership and unlock new revenue channels to minimise out-of-pocket patient expenses – whilst supporting government reach further into emerging communities.
Allied World Healthcare (AWH) is a brand new social enterprise looking to radically rethink the way healthcare is delivered in underserved communities in South East Asia leveraging digital health platforms for access, and data analytics for new revenue streams – limiting the need for donations, grants or charity.
The AWH team sincerely thank Questex for the invitation, and congratulate them on running a fantastic, well-attended and fascinating event.
